最近两个月，一直在翻阅各种关于梅艳芳的资料，把她唱过的所有歌都翻出来听，把她演过的所有电影都找出来看。越发敬佩这个已经逝去近十年的女人。

梅艳芳当红的时候，我还很迟钝，并不知道她的魅力，不了解她的传奇。只是对她在《钟无艳》中反串的角色印象深刻，不过，现在想来，即便是当时所谓的“印象深刻”，也只不过是肤浅的了解而已。那时对她扮“坏女孩”而造就的风靡并不当回事儿，只觉得那又是香港一贯的拷贝猫行为（现在的用词是“山寨”）而已——当时的原版“坏女孩”是美国的麦当娜（Madonna)。

真正注意到梅艳芳，已经是2003年SARS期间，梅艳芳发起《1:99音乐会》，号召全香港歌手演出。在台上，她说，“我们香港人不会倒下！”当时我并没有看演唱会，连网上的视频都没有看，只在新闻里瞥见她在台上说出这句话的瞬间。当时闪过一个念头：这是个有灵魂的女人。SARS那年，大陆的所有公众人物几乎全部噤声，平时忙于慈善的艺人全部消失不见，包括那个大名鼎鼎的艾滋大使。可是，在被一度被大陆人称为“文化沙漠”的香港，这个女人花用她特有的嗓音大声呐喊，“我们香港人不会倒下！”怎能不令人感动？而上一次比较著名的呐喊是前一年刘嘉玲裸照风波中，梅艳芳以“天地不容”为口号发起的游行和声讨大会，呼吁群众抵制《东周刊》。

当时还没有人知道梅艳芳已经罹患子宫颈癌……到了年底，病情已经无法控制。梅艳芳连续举办了8场演唱会，在最后一场中，穿上了10年前为自己准备却一直没有用上的婚纱，把自己嫁给了舞台。无人不挥泪。之后没多久，2003年12月30日，梅艳芳辞世，终年40岁。一朵奋力绽放40年的女人花。

若不是最近翻阅各种资料，孤陋寡闻的我都不知道还有这样一段：

1989年，梅艳芳凭《胭脂扣》获得第八届香港电影金像奖最佳女主角（香港影后），电影事业如日中天；同年，六四民运事件爆发，梅艳芳积极投入，及后因为拒绝到中国大陆拍摄，辞演关锦鹏为她度身订造的《阮玲玉》角色。十多年后不少明星开始淡忘事件后，她自言仍是“民主运动的忠贞分子。”她曾说：“如果我在支持六四方面半途而废，就会好浪费以前所做的一切，如果我现在放弃，就连一线生机都没有了。”

1989年学潮被镇压后，她应香港民主派人士之邀，一口答应到美加义演，为海外民运团体筹款。已故香港民主派元老司徒华形容她“有情有义”、“深明大义”。由她演绎的血染的风采，在香港传颂一时，成为六四经典民运歌曲。2004年1月在梅艳芳的葬礼上，吾尔开希曾罕有地获香港政府批准入境，出席梅艳芳的葬礼。

梅艳芳演技一流，《胭脂扣》中的婉约，《半生缘》中的凄冷，《审死官》里的仗义，《金枝玉叶2》中的孤寂，举手投足都是戏。看过很多资料之后再重看这些电影，就知道梅艳芳和张国荣一样，早已人戏不分，戏如人生，人生如戏。《金枝玉叶2》里，她目光穿透一切地喃喃细语：“别人在上学，我在唱歌，那么小到就唱各种情歌，还没谈过恋爱却已经拍了很多感情戏……”人们慨叹她感情不顺利，其实这也是没办法的事情，一方面是她的完美主义倾向，另一方面是她的光芒万丈——她的形象设计师刘培基一语道破：“她这样的女人属于世界，没办法属于哪一个人。”

2003年犹如世界末日。那年爆发了SARS，那年张国荣跳楼，到了年底梅艳芳撒手人寰。其实，某种意义上，那一年真的是末日，香港娱乐业低迷近十年之后的“诚心救市之作”《无间道》被迫拍了第三部，从此香港电影彻底废掉，迄今毫无起色，也不可能再有起色——灵魂不应该被审查。于是，一个时代结束了。没有了灵魂。

I deleted all my tweets posted with @xiaolai, and stopped using it anymore. I was once delighted using twitter as the extension of my eyes and ears, receiving much more information than I could ever before. I was hooked, and kept a twitter specialized browser window opened all day long, rendering it as an indispensable part of my body. (I didn’t deactivate the account in case others might assume my identity. It already happened: one twitter user always proclaims she is the shadow ID of @xiaolai. It’s annoying, and what’s even more irritating is the fact that many idiots bought her.)

However, I finally found myself not capable of affording time and efforts. 99.9% of tweets pushed to me were meaningless, especially those in Chinese. The worst of all, even my own tweets gradually turned into garbage, after all, no one could write meaningfully every day, every hour, or every minute. I had 34,550 followers, I followed 18,959 users, and posted 19,122 tweets. I once enjoyed encountering serendipities twitter brought to me. But now it turns out that the cost is too expensive, compared to the nearly zero outcome. Time is precious, efforts are limited, and good moods are rare in this isolated country, all of which I have less.

Most important of all, I found SNS boring. Formulated circles populate politics, and the atmosphere will be in no way not contaminated by subtle yet influential relationships among circle members, which is especially true in Chinese twitter users. As a result, facts are distorted, opinions are misinterpreted, and nothing is left simple and elegant. I didn’t mean to stop using twitter, I just want to use it in another more comfortable way. In fact, it is quite a sophisticated modern “radio”, as long as I can keep channels clean and well sorted. I have another account, which is set as protected. In the past several days, I’ve been living quite a different life, showering myself with an altered stream of information. It’s pretty good for me.

这段中文补充，是后来加进来的（原本只是把豆瓣上的一个“点评”转帖在下面）。因为想了想，如若不补充，很多读者可能会被误导（这还真是一个很尴尬的补充，因为越描越黑是很常见的）。

• 我英文确实不好，从来没好过，只是考试牛屄，仅此而已。

A reader gave me a link, an interesting post (most I don’t agree with, and few do have merits || 这句话里面的few被认为是错误，其实不是。2 used to emphasize how small a number of people or things is: [ as adj. ] : he had few friends | [ as pronoun ] : few thought to challenge these assumptions):

2012年1月31日，我删除了这几年在Twitter上的所有的Tweets，注销了@xiaolai这个账号。

毕竟是大卫芬奇的电影，又是两个多小时不分神地看完。

女主角Rooney Mara尤其演绎出色。Rooney Mara 1985年生人，2010年纽约大学毕业。之前被大卫芬奇起用，出演Social Network (2010)。这次接了The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo，应该是个三部曲。现在又被The Tree of Life的导演Terrence Malick请去拍Lawless (2013). 一个大牌出现了。

Apple发布了一个简单的Mac App，叫“iBooks Authors”——当然，目前只有Mac版本，没有为Windows制作的版本；又当然，没有就没有吧。

试用了一下，觉得即便有了这东西，作者也不是很容易制作并发布电子书的。编辑、美工，都是职业，大多作者没能力自己全部操刀——即便iBooks Author很方便，它也不过是在所有物料都齐全的情况下才很方便而已。

然而，它还是革命性的。任何一个作者，只要有吸引人的内容，都可以用很低成本（把编辑和美工外包出去）很快发布出去。

有人不屑Apple的一些“霸王条款”，其实，对于在中国生活的人来说，那根本算不上什么，老外一惊一乍而已，他们没见过真的霸王。

还有人不屑，说，读者要的不是“只能在iPad”上看的书。其实，iPad已经占了平板的一半以上的市场（另外一说是75%以上），对任何一个作者来说，都已经足够了。

我还真得想想怎么把以后的书全都用iBooks Author重新做了。

另，不知道为什么大伙都把目光聚焦在“教科书”（Textbooks)上，其实，任何书都可以这么做，哪管它用不用得着太多的媒体文件和多指触摸。

太感人了！

昨天收到短信通知，我之前为lixiaolai.com申请并通过的备案，已被收回——没有说明原因。

另，从另外一个渠道得知，“目前北京地区不受理个人博客和空间的备案。”

弄个网站，放在国外的VPS上，国内访问慢，或者干脆访问不了。

在国内买个VPS（北京），结果系统差，技术支持恶心……于是只好退款换了另外一家（上海）……

这回还凑合，对，只是凑合。结果第二天来电话说，您的网站没有备案，请三小时内关闭。

我不是不想备案，而是发现这备案不太好弄：需要本人去照相，我人在北京，服务器在上海，不能在北京备案……

这备案也真神奇，直接把一个Internet website干成localhost。

真折腾人啊。

人要是心情不好，就效率低下。这么点破事儿，弄得我好几天什么别的事儿都做不了，真正坑爹啊。

本来纳税人是爹，不，是爷。结果现在爷不再是爷，是孙子，不，是龟孙子。

半夜开始闹肚，一整天都没办法出门，只好宅在家里把Homeland (2011)第一季全部看完。

据说，这部剧连奥巴马都在追着看。到IMDb上翻了一下，原来女主角是许多年前（1996）跟莱昂纳多一起演《罗密欧与朱丽叶》的那人。

故事确实很好看。

希望新的一年比过往更好，通常只不过是成年人的一厢情愿，一时糊涂。不比去年差就谢天谢地了。

在新的一年里，希望

1. 没有火车相撞。

2. 没有飞机掉下来。

3. 蒙牛倒闭。

4. 没有人自己烧死自己。

5. 蝙蝠侠别再挨打。

6. 有正常点的国产片看。

想不出什么了。就这些。
